Apart from a cushion cover? Want to do something for ds' bedroom. Inspiration needed, thank you!

Put it in a nice picture frame? Could even put some small pictures on top of the fabric so it is like an aperture frame idea.

Make a patchwork quilt. Keep thinking I should do this some time. Shame I am rubbish at sewing.

Wrap some nice boxes with it, to make a set of trinket boxes.

Make a tea cosy?

Make into a tea towel?

doorstop bag thing or two similar style book ends
tissue box/cotton wool/pen pot cover
memo board (cover cork tile, criss cross ribbons on)
cover wide photo frame
ditto mirror frame
magazine box cover

How old is DS?

Is it cowbouy fabric or stripes or what?

ifeelitall · 01/02/2010 13:55

God, you lot are good! And fast!

Ds is almost 5, his 11 month old brother will be sharing his room soon. It's the sailing boat print.

you could use some other fabric with it and make bunting

lol I just realised it was DS. He will LOVE a tissue box holder!
You could still do a manly memo board!

hobbgoblin10 · 01/02/2010 13:57

Erm, a padded anchor type thing?

If DD I would have said a padded heart on ribbon as I have for my DDs who are also sharing a room (I've just decorated for them).

Otherwise, all the other suggestions are great. I love all of them.

Little drawstring bags for storing things or favourite toys?

Applique onto plain pillow cases?

Db awake so got to go, but will check back later. These are all great ideas, thank you so much!

(He'd actually probably love a tissue box holder btw!)
