I'd like to start knitting again. Where can i get really good quality but cheap wool from? Also, what constitutes good wool? I'm a novice!

I use this site a lot.

Lots of very cheap discontinued lines from good brands like Rowan.

P+P is a bit steep though but still works out cheaper than buying from anywhere else.

The higher the wool content the better the quality generally although obviously it depends what the wool is going to be used for, as pure wool can be very hard to wash.

I usually go for a blend or cotton based yarn.
