This is a sort of strange posting, because obviously anyone who wants to should donate to Medecins Sans Frontieres , but for those of you who are knitters, you might be interested to know that the Yarn Harlot (aka Stephanie Pearl McPhee) is running another MSF appeal on her Yarnharlot website, as a response to the appalling Haiti earthquake. While the money that knitters donate to MSF doesn't go into a special 'knitters pot' or anything (you donate directly to MSF), she keeps a running tally of what knitters round the world have donated to MSF to date, and it's truly inspiring. She also co-ordinates the giving of 'karmic balancing gifts' (usually something knitting-related) to randomly selected donors.
