Can anyone recomend some simple dress patterns or dressmaking books for my daughter aged 8.

I am at the moment quite a rubbish mum and would like to be able to do more with her.

She used to enjoy helping me make clothes. She is always drawing designs and has spent this evening tacking together a dress from a scarf.

Does anyone know of any useful, websites, books or patterns so I could enourage her and find something we could do together?

Thankyou

Thanks, I use scrap stores for work, I may join personally for dd and I. What a good idea.

Thanks for the links, I am sure dd could do lots of that. I will show her tomorrow

I am in Dorset so it would be quite a trip. We have one in Dorchester I think.
