What to do with old Christmas cards?

We've got loads this year - is there anything we can do with them apart from the good old "making them in to gift tags"?

Cut them up to make new cards. Make decorations from them. Recycle them!

Okay it is late, that is all I can come up with!

Let your children cut them up to practice their scissors skills.
Learning to use scissors is an essential skill.
Cards are just the right thickness for young children to cut up by themselves. Not too thin, like paper.
