Someone just give me encouragement

Not done any art for years, and have decided to have a go at something for a calendar.

I know what I want to do, just can't get motivated to actually start the thing!!!

Do it, do it, do it.
I hadn't done anything artistic for years, but then I did a Share class at ds1's nursery and I started drawing again. So far I've illustrated half a book for my dses, with every intention of doing the other half, um, tomorrow, or perhaps the next day, or in the winter. Perhaps.
Seriously, do it and keep motivated. In fact, I might have another crack at finishing his book tonight after they're in bed.

Just bin the TV remote and surround yourself with the materials. It works better in the peace and quiet of the middle of the night provided you have just had a strong coffee. Or give the artwork a deadline, someone's birthday or a presetn for next mother day

...Though in all honesty, it doesn't work for me I may start selling art supplies, I have boought so many noce materials but never bring my self to continue
