I set up mine a couple of weeks ago - ok so far - have bought more than I've sold !! I did sell 3 pictures (I do original pen and ink and watercolour pictures in handmade frames ) but these were to friends,so maybe it doesn't count ! A friend of SIL's bought 2 and comissioned a third . I wondr though whether people do sell much ?

I have one.

When I first set it up I had a few sales but it was very much early days for Folksy and then I stopped listing for ages. Have recently stocked some more and had a couple of sales but one was from elsewhere (i.e. I directed her there).

From what I've read it's mainly other sellers who buy stuff on there. Some people say MISI is better.

How much have you advertised your shop? Join forums where you can put your link in your signature and other craft forums and join in, the more people know about you the more customers you'll have.

thanks craftynclothy - I have made a facebook fan page and linked it to the shop and I've joined the forums - What is MISI though ? I thought of etsy but it seems so huge and the dollars thing puts me off !

MISI is uk based, just like Folksy but I think the fees are a % of the sale price rather than a fixed fee iirc.
