Can I use it to bung up the holes of a flowerpot? IE, will it dissolve back to soft plasticine when I put water in the pot? and if not, what can I use that I should be able to find in my house that I can use. TIA.

I mean, I will let the plasticine go hard before I plant things up in it. I need the holes bunged up. I am not losing hte plot.

Will shrink a bit, just enoough to let the water leach out, unless you line most of the pot I would guess.

aha. didn't think about shrinkage. I am now thinking that if I don't have caulk i'll just a cheap pot without holes. sigh. will have to go out.
