Need a good craft set/supplies for a 6 year old boy

Ds loves craft stuff and wants some bits to fill up his box. He's not into toys so would like to get a couple of good sets too either just craft bits or something to make.

Well saw in 'The Works' the other day stationary sets discounted. All themed but had quite a bit in them. I know Hobby Craft did have some crayons, pens and pencil sets for less than £1 the other day.
