knitting needles

Hi my dd age 8 says she needs some knitting needles so she can carry on with her school project over Christmas. I don't knit - so no idea - she says she has 6.5 at school? Help anyone...

that would be the size of them. you need to find somewhere that sells them or sometimes you can get them in charity stores. you could also ask on freecycle.

John Lewis - they're pretty cheap and will do mail order. Otherwise there's a lot of online knitting suppliers.
