Cards - Lots of New ideas !

Come back from hols with loads of ideas - just not got enough time to make them all !
I have also added one to my All New folder in the Gallery - see what you think of Polly Plaits !

Ideas include (& I don't mind sharing them !)
Using bits of maps in cards - would be good for a new house move or to highlight a favourite area ?
Also collected little tiny shells & sand to try & put something beachy together.
And thinking of using an ice lolly stick to make a Lolly card !

It's a shame work always gets in the way !

Suppose it's when you take your card stuff on holiday that you're a real card addict

I have often thought about making a cocktail card using a cocktail umbrella, similar to your lollipop idea. Perhaps the next card challenge should be incorporating an everyday item...

I actually didn;t take anything on hols BUT I managed to find a really good shop that sold bits & bobs ! Half of it was a hair dressers & they had some nice little packs of nice paper for 50p - £1

whizzz!! polly plaite is fab!! she made me laff very cheery.
Maps are a lovely idea. I use road maps on men's cards and the effect is very nice.
have you tried scrapbooking? I think you'd like it.

You can use almost anything to make a card and some of my favourite cards have very unusual bits and bobs on them that I have rescued from being thrown away.

I made a really lovely card once for a friend who is very arty farty and I used a plug and it's chain to make a flower. She loved it and even though I say it myself it was rather splendid....definately not what you would find in clintons!!

Had some bad news and felt a bit down for over a week. Nothing tragic like someone dying or anything.

Anyway Whizz looking at polly plaite today has cheered me up she's lovely and hopefully I'll be back to normal soon.
