does anyone know how easy it is to put lighting in a dolls house. are there such things as stick on battery operated lights or does it all involve wiring?

Homebase sells mini stick on lights - there meant to be used just above the key hole on your door.

There about 3cm in diameter.

You need wiring really if you want to work to scale, but you can get relatively easy kits where the wire is in a kind of sellotape. The instructions that come with show you how to use it. Do you live anywhere near a specialist shop, the staff are usually very knowledgable. Several magazines about as well, they sometimes have articles about lighting, and will tell you where the shops are.

You need to think about fire safety in a wooden toy. Get something designed for the job.
