Hi, I am an interloper into this topic I'm afraid.
I'm doing an upholstery course and the fabric I am using to cover my chair is an old silky stripy piece that was knocking round my parents' attic. It's got some stains on it that look as if they might be rust, not sure, but has anyone got any idea of what would be the best thing to handwash it in?
