Attaching a georgette skirt to an lycra top

The skirt is not stretchy the top is......

Is there an easy solution? because the stitching would snap when it stretched?

hmm far from expert but first question is do you have stretch stitches on your machine? if so, that and a ballpoint needle should deal with the lycra bit. stretch it out and pin evenly, should be fine [hopeful]

just stretch the lycra to the same size as the skirt and sew it on while stretched. you would be best with a zigzag stitch or a stretch stich that goes back and forth.
