How do you keep track of projects/gift ideas?

Just wondering if any of you have a way of stashing all the ideas that you have for making things, specific gifts etc. I have a huge number of book marks but they may expire and I want a nice way to record gifts that I intend for people.

Any tips?

i have a word document i copy and paste into, put the title in bold so when looking at multipage i can quickly get to the one i need hth xx

a beloved notebook that travels everywhere with me incase there's a moment for an idea or scribble!

Thanks, I might have to do a word document. A book is a lovely idea, but most of the stuff I get is online and don't have ready access to a printer.
