I am making a load of 'stuff' to sell at christmas fairs (starting early...) and I want a nem to go on the labels.
It will be
crochet amigurumi animals, cakes, food
felt shape keyrings
crayon rolls and totes
scarves
hats
fingerless gloves
soft toys in fabric and felt

and other stuff along those lines.

My first name woudl be great on it's own but unfortunately is the name of a very well known british wool company, and my surname is the same as 007 (don't want to be googlable).

Something cute and childlike please.

(I am going to try and use the fairs to see if there is interest in pre-teen craft classes so needs to fit with that if at all possible)

Crafty Paws.

Cool, but can you add in my name somehow? (rowan) as it's not very common around here so would make me stick out!

The Rowan Tree
Rowanberries
Red Rowan

or something and Rowan i.e. Topsy and Rowan Rowan and Co
Robin and Rowan

BlueChampagne · 29/07/2009 13:43

Agree with Dweezle about something and Rowan. Apparently there's only one Faber in Faber & Faber but it sounded better!

sassy · 29/07/2009 13:47

The Rowan Boat
Rowanknits

EachPeachPearMum · 29/07/2009 13:54

LOL you may have a problem with trademarks with anything to do with knits or wool etc...

Rowanberry is nice

Rowanberry and Peapod

erm...

JackBauer · 29/07/2009 17:42

eachpeach, that is what I am worried about, I daren't have Rowan on it's own...not that my little handicrafts will ever rival them, but still, don't want trades descriptions on me

I like Rowanberry, could become Rowanberries for classes, or is that too twee.

As an aside, I once broke a boys nose for constantly singing Row Your Boat at me...unintentionally of course.....

RowanJelly - apparently it's quite a well known dish and very yummy.

Mountain Ash?

PrefetParfait · 29/07/2009 17:48

RowanCraft(s)?

007ed Crafts (would imply gluey things!

JackBauer · 30/07/2009 19:13

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 30/07/2009 19:24

I thought The Rowan Tree just before I came to GeeWizz's post.

GeeWhizz · 30/07/2009 19:25

Row And Rowan

OurLadyOfPerpetualSupper · 30/07/2009 19:25

or what about something with the word cottage, like Rowan's Cottage Crafts?

GeeWhizz · 30/07/2009 19:29

Rowan Made This

Think this might fit in with more light hearted/child like

Spoo · 30/07/2009 19:29

What about 'Row the Boat' sort of has Rowan in it.

JackBauer · 30/07/2009 19:38

Spoo, I refer you to my post on Wed 29-Jul-09 17:42:02

Am really liking Rowan Made This actually. My name just wants to turn into flowery chintzy type names and my stuff is more Aranzi Aronzo or silly things.

Apologies Ms Bauer didn't mean to offend. I just thought it was quite cute especially if you were making baby things. I like Rowan Made This. Its accurate!

GeeWhizz · 30/07/2009 19:43

Do I win a prize then???

JackBauer · 30/07/2009 19:53

Um..How about an enormouse sense of wellbeing?

Spoo, I didn't do it on purpose, I was 7 and he was really pissing me off, and I turned a bit too fast to tell him to naff off and accidentally caught him in the face with my violin case. Snap, Blood, Detention.
No-one sings that song to me

Except DD's

Very pleased to have given you some inspiration on the name.

Good Luck with all your fairs.
