Does Iron-on transfer paper work with a laserjet printer?

Hi,

I want to put some text on a t-shirt and thought I could use iron-on transfer paper. But all the paper packs say its for use with an inkjet printer and I have a laserjet. Will it work anyway? Has anyone tried it?

Thanks!

I've used laser printer output, but using that gel stuff that you spread on it, rather than the paper... Not sure if that's helpful or not!

I've had to google it as it's ages since I used it, but it's this stuff here. The blurb says that it does photocopies, but given that my laser printer also photocopies, I imagine that would be fine.

There are a couple of downsides to it - it's quite thick, so you do get a slightly plasticky feel to the fabric (I was ding cushions, so it was fine. And you have to copy the image in reverse, as the process reverses it back. But it lasts for ages - I've still got the cushions!
