TIE DYE.........

Did my first ever tie-dye t-shirt yesterday
It came out pretty well for a first go - except I managed to get splodges of dye onto the bits i was trying to keep white. dp has suggested that i get the tied bits and tie a little bit of carrier bag over them to stop them lying on the white bits and leaving splodges (does that make sense?? lol)
Do any of you do tie-dye? Have any tips? I want to get good and sell the t-shirts/baby vests etc

i think it looks lovely with the colours on the white bit, is it the little coloured bits that you mean? think it looks authentic.

yes the little dots here and there - i had tried to just do a circle in the middle and the sleeves and keep the rest white - she wore it to school today and they all loved it and said they thought that's how it was meant to be
