I haven't seen the MM tool kit, so I don't really know what's in there.

I have just got some really pretty ones, little prams, dragonflies and planes!! I haven't used them yet, seem too good to use!

Have you got the eyelets too?

pootlepod · 06/05/2005 18:43

I think I have the same set. I bought my kit from lakeland and I know the eyelets they sell fit one of the eyelet setters- 1/8th size.

The kit also has 1/16 and 3/16 so I guess making memories also sell eyelets to fit.

Haven't tried fancy eyelets yet, but the effect of plain ones is rather nice. And after the last card challenge I am also addicted to brads

I have the metallic colours and they go with loads. I would consider the pastels in the future. [sits on credit card emoticon]

pootlepod · 06/05/2005 19:52

The bargains section is always worth a nosey!

pootlepod · 06/05/2005 19:55

AQ and I bought the Lakeland eyelets - 1 set each, then we divvied them up - that took a fiddly 40mins or so but it means we both have a wider range of colours. I have made most use of the pastel eyelets and a dark brass one.
See if anyone will share with you...

i haven't read the whole theraed Yg ...have you got the setter...the end looks like a press stud kinda shape?

AuntyQuated · 24/05/2005 16:05

right...have read it now...
make hole,
put eyelet in it
put flatter side, (finished side) down
fit setter over eyelet
whack with hammer

it opens it up and holds it in place.
basically fiddle around on scrap card, you'll waste a few eyelets so choose ones you don't think you will use very often.

good luck

did it work?

Carolinett · 24/05/2005 18:53

AQ you missed something out of the instruction Don't you have to stand on one leg with rollers in your hair and your tongue hanging out of the left hand side of your mouth or it doesn't work
