So who's up for another card challenge?

Not taking it for granted that AQ will do another one, but if not, perhaps someone else will offer.

I don't want to take it for granted AQ!

So who is interested and what ideas?

I would love to join in but have about 20/30 cards to prioritise first!

just had a thought...
brads and eyelets ...who can and who can't??

could you just go into your bit of the database and say yes or no to each.
sign in then click EDIT next to your name then fill in brads and eyelets

No luck AQ. I am in the Database screen, with the first 13 names on, click on the edit on my line. Is that right? It is still saying I don't have permission to edit.

I am obvoiusly a very dodgy character they don't like the sound of!

right---i have worked it out.

you were doing it wrong! you have to have your left eye closed and your tongue sticking out!

try it and i'm sure it will work!!

ooo..oooo....I read yesterday that you can do eyelets on a sizzix machine, punch hole, put in place and rather than hammer, place in sizix machine with convertor plate on. Another option for those of us with sizzix machines! thought it might be worth mentioning anyway!

dingle you star!! will get some and try it out, put that sizzix to use rather than fork out for more stuff [angelic emoticon] where can I get the correct size punch from?

You still need to make the hole your self then sizzix will flatten the eyelet for you

so you make a whole, place the eyelet in the whole, put it under sizzix with conv fitted, press down and eyelets become set?

Card Challenge - couple of question

Do you need to send an envelopes with your B&Bs?

Is there a limit to the embelishments you can put on the card?

DH and I have had a rough few days and as a treat he has booked us a holiday!!!! Off in 13 days time....hip hip hooray....ten days sipping cocktails poolside in sunshine is just what I need right now.....and NO KIDS either!!!!!

Looks highly unlikely that I can make the weekend either as this is the last weekend I have at home to pack and get sorted before we head off to the sunshine....BIG Bummer but I really need this break away to save my sanity!!!!

So if you can either email me the dates....or post them here I will get my B&P's in the post asap....internet connection is STILL down!!!!

I'll emial you a piccie of my card and B&P's that I am sending so you can upload etc whilst I am away.

You can buy the hole punch from the craft shops Where do I start there's so many different ones.

The most popular size is 1/8th of an inch punch

You can buy one punch for about £2.00 & I got a cheap toffee hammer from the local market for about £1.00 to start with. Don't fall for the pretty pink ladies hammer they sell in the craft shops there dear and no better than a cheap of the market hammer
Later I bought the new friskar set of three 1/16th 1/8th & 1/4th the punch at one end & the set at the other but they were about £11.99

I have just come online and notice that we are using brads and eyelets. I dont have the items to do these and also dont have a sizzix either. Will this be a problem?
I can go get the bits I need if there not too expensive?
