I would love to make a cross-stitch design for my 1 year-old daughter (yes I know, a bit late...)with her birth details, and one for her sibling when born in September, hopefully to frame both for their nursery. I have done basic cross-stitch before but am not sure whether you all buy a pattern or design it yourselves? Would prefer to buy the fabric and silks myself, rather than a very expensive kit... Can anyone recommend books with baby/child cross-stitch designs?
