I was thinking of making that Clanger pattern ZoeC; have you made it yourself? A few people have FOs on ravelry, but not many.

Southeastastra, if you have white you might like fuzzy lamb. There's a pic of a white one here and the actual pattern is here.

Loads of free toy patterns, including the lamb, at knitting pattern central's toy page.

ooh lamb is lovely! pattern looks quite challenging remember i'm a beginner

I think the lamb is easier than it looks from the pattern, but it is a bit fiddly I guess. I'm useless at knitting toys, precisely because I don't like the fiddle factor, and am too impatient! I do envy people who churn out lots of lovely toy gifts, though.

Well, a pattern that's certainly easy and uses lots of white is knitted loo roll. I'm just not sure what people actually do with it...

southeastastra · 01/05/2009 14:43

rofl! that loo roll really appeals to me - will knit that.

i must take some lessons as i love knitting but gets boring just doing easy things

No, I haven't made the Clanger as I can't knit - but my mum's mother-in-law made one for us and it came out fine. She commented it was the oddest shape knitted toy she has ever made, but I don't think she'd ever seen the programme!
