Good beginners guide to curtain & roller blind making?

I'd like to make some new curtains but have never done it before. Is it really difficult? I would probably start with tab top ones as they seem easiest. Does anyone know of any good beginners guides?

John Lewis used to do a kit which I managed to use so not difficult!
