Cross Stitch Corner

Hi,

After suggestion on another thread I wondered whether it might be nice to have a cross-stitchers gathering place where we could share progress on work in progress, hints and tips (if there are any ), good places to buy etc.

I will start.

I am currently working on Candy Cane Santa from the Dimensions Gold collection.

My progress so far is on my profile - I have done about a third of the main window frame. I aim to finish by Christmas - which should be doable if I keep off MN a couple of nights a week - about half of it is half cross stitch anyway.

Anyone else doing Cross stitch at the moment?

I am doing a traditional sampler for my nephew and nieces' christening - which was 4 years ago.....

Just seen this. I'm doing a free one from a magazine while waiting on a kit from ebay to arrive. Thats going to be the biggest one yet.

I'm doing the Apache Marriage Blessing for my friends wedding in August. The way it's going she might get it for her first anniversary!

Tommy-I finished dd3s birth sampler just in time for her fourth birthday

I haven't done any for ages; I was having a thing about blackwork as it grows much more quickly than cross-stitch. I've finished this one and have nearly finished this one about three years ago! Just had a look and I can't even find the pattern now, curses.
