Press Studs - am I googling wrong?

Hope someone can help me - I'm about to make a pair of summer dungarees for DD and the legs need press studs. I'm after the kind you need a tool to apply - like you'd get on baby vests etc, but my googling isn't coming up with much. Anyone know a suitable site?

You are after popper (sometimes called poppa) fasteners or studs. Googling that brings up a few different options. Press studs tends to refer to the kind that you sew on.

Planet Fleece do a snap press & metal studs...I think that's what you might mean

Thanks - I've had more luck with "fasteners". It's all about asking the right question isn't it...

You can buy them in places like Dunelm Mill too

Are you getting some male pin ups? 'studs'

Fen, are you an Aussie? We call them press studs here. Poppers in the uk though. I got some at Dunelm Mill about a year ago - you hammer them on.

Actually grew up in NZ...

I managed to get out shopping at the weekend and got some from John Lewis. Will need to borrow a diddy hammer from DH.
