30 years!!
I've often wondered whether this was something you can still get in the shops.
Right, you made these little flower shapes, with petals, out of thin wire of some kind. Then, you dipped it in some sort of coloured liquid, thickish.
So for a petal you had a loop of wire, with a thin film of liquid in it, like on a bubbble blowing wand.
The coloured liquid film dried out, and you were left with a translucent film which was relatively sturdy, and you could wire it together with other petals to make a flower.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Does it have a name, and is it still around??
