Easter Games

DDs 1 and 3 are having friends over at Easter. They're twins aged 4 and a 5 year old. I'm after some ideas for something 'Eastery' that they can play or make.
Anyone have any hints?

Easter egg hunt - make cardboard baskets beforehand to collect them in.

Easter bonnets?

Obvious I know but they seem to go down well!

Thanks very much BB will try both. In fact we can make the cardboard baskets too.

Are there any other game suggestions?

My dc 5 year old twins and dd4 have just had the best hour making foil covered eggs. Honestly I had the day from hell yesterday, today has been lovely mostly due to said eggs. We all loved it.

Basically you cut out some card egg shapes(not too small),get them to cover in kitchen foil (we glued it down),paint with normal runny paint then get a cotton bud to make patterns.

They look so effective. You can use them to put on cards or to stick on the window. My lot did stripes, dots, flowers, circles, trains. Using 2 colours was very effective.

I'd cut out loads of eggs 1st and squares of foil, use prit stick, also make some up too.

Can't take credit for it was on- www.craftweekly , fab site. This weeks e-mail/newsletter is eggs, she had loads of ideas eg lovely hunt buckets made out of paper cups.

You're welcome

The reason I love that site is it's all made from stuff you find at home, the photos and instructions are fab and it's projects they can individualize so they don't all produce the same finished product.

Those cup buckets might have been on the older eggs newsletter.

Hope you all have fun
