Boiled egg decorating comp - DS1 want to do an "army man"

Plan to give him brown and green paints to splodge all over in some sort of camouflage effect (finders crossed) Have googly eyes he can stick on, or he can draw them when it's dry. Any ideas for a hat?

mix black and green playdoh and mould into a helmet shape?

We did a guard in a bearskin hat, called it egg and soldiers

If you've got enough time before the competition you could cut the top of his head off, fill him with cress seed and when it grows, cut it like a crew cut. Depends when the competition is though!
