Any ideas for quick easter bonnet for a BOY!

My son's nursery are having an easter parade. We have been TOLD to make a hat and paint an easter egg by wednesday. I work part time and my mom is seriously ill in hospital. So I really don't have time for this. Any ideas that are v quick and easy and don't require a trip to the shops would be massively appreciated.

How about a strip of card (from a cereal packet mabe?) stapled or cellotaped to make a band around his head and then cut out another egg shaped peice of card to put on the front. All you'd have to spend any time on would be painting or colouring the egg bit.

I sympathise with you as we get next to no notice time for things like this too. In fact we got a phone call on the morning of the first swimming trip for my ds!

Make a disc, from a cereal box packet.

Cut out the middle so it now looks like a frisbee.

Paint it yellow...

Do you have one those very dated bread baskets..??

Stick the basket part through the hole.

Stick some chicks and mini eggs on it.

Some elastic to hold it in place.

Hey presto.......Easter Bonnet.
