Toddler group Mothers Day Craft

never posted on this part of Mumsnet so don't know if I'm in the wrong place but... running a toddler group, looking for some inspiration for a 5 - 10 minute craft / painting / cooking / anything idea for the LOs to take home as a present. They've mostly got parental supervision while they're doing the craft.

Any ideas? TIA

I think we once decorated yog pots then drew round hands (could do hand prints) cut out and stuck on lolly sticks to look like flowers in a pot.

We've done this week - plant bulbs in yoghurt pots
Put handprints on coloured paper on either side of printed poem (that one about fingerprints)
Bits and bobs, stickers and stamps to stick on folded card to make a mothers day card

decorate digestive biscuits with icing and heart sweets!

We've done cards, vases(just empty drink bottle with gem stickers stuck on it), photo frames (both cheap wooden ones from wilkos with stuff stuck on and these, rice crispy cakes and keyrings/mobile phone charms/whatevers made by just threading beads onto a bit of thread. Oh and one group (but it was an older group 2.5-4 year olds) they each had to draw a pic of themselves and it was made into teatowels-that takes advance planning though.

we've done cards at our toddler group - prob easiest to organise, done ones with pre cut stickers and another sticking tissue paper on to make flowers
one toddler group organised in advance for paint your own pottery to come in, prob was a couple of weeks ago now tho and you painted and paid and she brought them back to group following week, obviously not one for this mothers day but maybe in future!
