Copying photographs

I wasn't sure which topic to post this under.

I have around 300 photos ranging in age, size and quality which I need to get copies of in around 3 weeks time. I am not sure what the best thing to do is - anyone have any ideas how much it would cost if I took them all to somewherelike Snappy Snaps to copy or is there another and better way of doing it?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have a scanner? You could scan them, then post them up to a printing service such as Photobox for printing? For bulk they can be as little as 4p each but there's all your scanning time...

thanks kitbit but I don't think my scanner's good enough & the quality of some of the older photos needs a professional job....
