"Etsy" - anyone belong to it/use it?

I discovered it yesterday, and today discovered "Shop by colour" - OK, I can't afford anything, but I really like the idea of me making and selling "crafty things" to supplement my meagre income.

However, it seems heavily USA based. Anyone had any experience of Etsy in the UK? Good, bad and ugly.

i have bought stuff, fabrics from japan, mainly, very happy with it. i think making any £ from it will be all about marketing your stuff though, getting links from blogs etc.
