Another circular needle question

Hi
I'm doing this pattern and I'm on the hood part. I have placed my markers but what does it mean when it says: "Work 7 rows even"? Does it mean keep knitting all the way round until you've done 7 'rows'?

Hi Bunjies
Americans use this expression to mean just continue in the main stitch pattern without any increases or decreases for the given number of rows.

Yes, knit as before without increasing. However, you're not knitting 'round' at this stage, you are knitting rows backwards and forwards - that's why there are knit rows and purl rows...
