just wanted to say ive done this for my dp for when he comes home tonight, i think he'll be amazed ive bothered (as i dont normally) and will be quite pleased that ive gone to the effort, it looks rather nice i used an iron on little heart in place of a stamp and only did the running stitch on the top flap, as much as i can do with kids driving me potty! amateur but nice! so thank you lucykate!

aha but you're a pro! and i may call myself amateur but i should say massively cack handed and harassed amateur which is why dp will be vaguely impressed!

i have had a nose at your blog spot and i nearly cried when i saw the tutorial for an eye patch! my dd is 3.5 and has a squint and terrible sight and has to have her eye patched for apprx 6 hours a day. She hates the sticky patches, she cries they get wet, they hurt coming off etc im gonna try my hardest to make a lovely one for her glasses then it may really encourage her to keep going, rather than sneeking to her bedroom to peel off her plaster! im probably going to start stalking your blog!

thankyou!

the eye patch project has helped a lot of people i'm pleased to say. i was at the end of my tether with dd and patching, until one evening i started googling eye patches and thought there must be an easier way! i really need to do a new one with some boy variations.
