Dd is very keen to grow her own crystals and has a book with lots of experiments in it - it says she needs to have alum but I can't find it anywhere - I've googled with limited success - does anyone have any ideas please?

thanks

I would have thought an ordinary high street chemists would have some (probably an independant rather than somewhere like Boots)
