Spanish dancer dress pattern for a 10 year old ... where do I start?

dd2 is doing European countries as her topic at school. She has asked me to make her a Spanish dancer dress and has picked out a photo showing what sort of thing she wants. I'm fairly handy with a sewing machine but don't really fancy making this without some sort of pattern to follow (even just to get the neckline and sleeves right). I've tried searching for costumes, dress patterns and even bridesmaid patterns, but there is nothing I can find that's even remotely like what she wants. Any suggestions? I've got until June to make it.

here's a link to the pic, she wants one like the blue one: spanish dresses

Hve you looked on Ebay for these? Or just generally looked on dancewear sites? There are usually some there. Or do you have to/want to make it?

Cheap one here

Try looking using 'flamenco' rather than Spanish dancer

Ahhhh, didn't think of looking for flamenco

I would prefer to make it, because then I can make it to fit properly, and I can also make better quality than I can buy. I think she is particularly keen on having all the flounces

But thanks for the heads up, I will search for flamenco and see if that turns up any patterns (will check ebay too)
