Knitters - why do you hate the Da Vinci Code?

I've got hooked on the Unsuggester. If you put in the Da Vinci Code, it says you won't like knitting books.

Seriously, four of the top ten unrecommendations are knitting books. WTF?

LOL - I would rather look at knitting books than read The Da Vinci Code. But then, on the whole, I don't like thrillers.

What a site though - I can see hours of my life being lost forever if I got into that - coming on MN is bad enough!

I find it a bit slow, but generally ok.

I know the Da Vinci Code is crap - I've read it, but didn't like it much. But, why knitters? There are plenty of Christian books (some of which appear on the unsuggested list for DVC). Not crochet or quilting, or anything like that, just knitting.
