Easy pattern for a decorative heart to knit or crochet?

Can anyone find me a link to a decent decorative heart pattern to knit or crochet, just a little trinket I can make for my mum to cheer her up for valentine's day. I've tried googling but most of the patterns I can find are vile! I'm not sure what I'm looking for just something easy and pretty.

Will have a look for you I have some heart patterns for cardigans etc. could you use that on a square?

this chart might help you could always just do the middle a solid red and the square bit in white? Not sure if this is type of thing you want will comeback later
