You can buy special paper at Staples which makes an iron on transfer for fabric.

I think the Snappy Snaps photo chain shops will do this, but no idea on cost.

I have used the iron on transfers several times for tshirts - I got mine from PC world and Staples. I wouldn't recommend them for longevity... they don't last too long in the wash which didn't matter much for us cos they were one-off event shirts.

My tip using this product would be to go for the sort for coloured shirts and cut out your image close to the edge. This prints on to a white paper whereas the light coloured is clear. The image doesn't stand out as well and you can see the film once it is ironed on to the shirts.

You also need to have an ink jet printer and it helps if you've got some software to flip your image so it prints out the right way when you iron the transfer on - otherwise you get a mirror image. OK for pictures but not so good for words.

I got a photo printed onto a A4ish sized canvas bag in a Kodak shop for about a tenner IIRC
