Best place to get prints done of textile work ?

I'd like to get some prints done of my original textile work here
but I haven't really got a clue as to how I should go about this.

I'd like the prints to be on high quality paper/ card that could be framed & would be suitable for me to sell.

Should I take a high resolution photo and then send this image to 'who' ?

Has anyone done this and can recommend the best way to go about this and who would be best to print them.

I'd be very grateful for any help

your pieces are amazing!!

I have used both snapfish and photobox for prints and found them to be of good quality. I also ordered canvas prints from snapfish for christmas pressies which were lovely. Is that the sort of thing you mean?

I've just been looking through your flickr site in absolute awe of your talent!!! Can I ask where you get your fabrics from? They are so bright and vibrant.

Thankyou so much kiwibella ! I think photobox and snapfish only print onto photo paper
I get most of my fabrics from Cowslip in cornwall but no online shop to buy from. I have to stock up when I visit my family.

I take commissions

i know quite a few people who have prints done of their paintings, they are usually referred to as 'giclee' prints. abacus have a good reputation. they have been going for ages, used to be pretty reasonably priced (not sure where they stand nowadays compared to places like moo) as they were used a lot by students years ago for postcard printing for degree shows etc. hth.

Thx LK, I'll check them out

I understand what you want now Tillyboo.

I got lots of inspiration from your site... and a sewing machine for christmas . I would love to have a play around first... and if it all goes to pot, I'll be calling to order .

Kiwibella ! Good luck with the sewing machine ..
