Bumping for you ..
Loads of knitters out there that should be able to help ?
I only make textile applique teacosies and can't knit or crochet so can't help I'm afraid

Moosmummie · 09/01/2009 08:41

Nail - you could make your own! It's really easy - I would be more than happy to help you get started. There are lots of great videos on the Let's Knit site that tell you how to cast on and knit. You can also find lots of free patterns online. Beware tho knitting is an addiction!

Hi nailpolish, I've tried knitting and am completely and utterly useless ! All those abbreviations and numbers just confuse me.

If you are interested in an applique tea cosy, email me on laurie at 23beechhill dot co uk and I can send you some piccies of what I do.

I'm surprised you haven't had more knitter interest , nevermind.

Bumping again for you though just in case.

The knitters are probably all like me today - trying to lose DH in town, so they can eye up the lovely new wool in the shops and pretend it's cheaper to knit your own than buy it from M&S..... my DH didn't get the hint though, and insisted on coming in the shop with me so I couldn't spend hours squeezing the balls of wool......

TooTicky · 10/01/2009 13:09

I'm a crocheter...

DutchOma · 10/01/2009 15:57

How big is this teapot (how big does the cosy need to be?) And have you a picture of the colours?

cariboo · 10/01/2009 15:59

There are tons of knitted teacosies for sale on ebay, btw. I need a new quilted one so was looking the other day.

Looks like you may have a couple of offers already NP, but I would happily do one for you too (I am not the fastest knitter though...)
