anyone seen this fab new magazine? its like the Tatler of knitting mags price is ridiculous but a few excellent patterns in it which I like so splashed out. And most of the UK based magazines are really mumsy so thought I should support it.

btw, i got mine in local sainsbury's.cant find a website for it.

That's a super jumper with all the cables

I bought it and i thought it was a bit scary. It's a bit ahead of my ability at the moment. I agree to the other mumsy mags tho - why are all the patterns still stuck in the seventies. Let's Knit is about the best one I think.

Interweave Knits is quite good interweave, but really, the patterns in most of these magazines are quite vile and I'd rather buy per pattern on www.ravelry.com - patterns are rated and reviewed there and it is possible to support independent designers. My current favourite designer is ysolda.com/wordpress/

Oh WOW! that site is beautiful! Oh oh can feel spree coming on Filly! Those tiny little shoes and the mouse is adorable!

yes it is a dangerous site

but in a Good Cause, i feel, encouraging new designers and suchlike

I cannot understand why she has not gotten some 8 book deal from Rowan, her stuff is really good. The patterns are really fun to knit, there is a small learning curve but it is very doable, I have learnt a LOT by following her patterns.
