Preserving a bouquet

dd was a bridesmaid 2 weekends ago . Her posy(mix of artificial and real buds) has been kept wet but is starting to lose colour. I 'm not sure how best to preserve it - press , dry ...? Or how to go about it.

I don't know much about preserving the whole thing but what I love is preserving one leaf in silver as a pendant. it's done with silver-clay stuff which is painted on to the leaf; the leaf burns away in the firing and you're left with a perfect silver leaf. I think it's a nice way to remember things but I appreciate it's only a leaf and doesn't give you the preserved flowers, etc.

I dried my wedding flowers out and while I didn't preserve the whole thing, I did do a display of some leaves and flowers by sticking them into a box frame - looks nice.
