Ah managed to get in. Thanks for the offer MangeTooT. I am having a minor panic here - just realised I have 3 evenings in which to finish some gloves for ds3 - that will be easy enough - but only 2 days (when dh is at work) in which to need nearly all of the pair of socks I am giving him!

How did your son's eye op go?

Oh, it was okay. It was postponed because he had a tummy bug so he had it just over a week ago. It was a cataract op. His vision is improved but he may need something else done in the new year though

Oh poor boy, and poor you too because I know what it is like sending your child off to theatre. Fingers crossed for a good outcome. (Now knitting at the pc!)
