Crown and Tiara making at a birthday party

My daughters party is this coming weekend (nothing like last minute) and I can't seem to find a crown/tiara making kit in the shops. There is a hobbycraft near that I haven't visited yet, does anyone know if they would have one?

Or can make them? I don't have any very thick card, but I do have lots of cardboard boxes around. Rather it not be "homemade" looking

Any ideas?

I bought a disney princess set in our sainsburies and used the template their for a master. Cut out lots of tiaras (well my lovely dh did) and got the kids to stick on sparkly bits, jewel shapes etc.

I think we bought big bits of card from WH Smith.

Thanks Macdog - I am not sure I have time to order online, however I can nip over to our local ELC. Thanks for that

Great idea tassissss, thanks - sounds like a plan. I've got lots of jewels, shapes, cotton wool, glitter it's literally the crowns we need. Thanks again

Just in case anyone has a dilemma we solved this by going to Hobbycraft and getting big pieces of gold card and found a template here and cut them out.

Party is today and 3 year old is very excited.
