I have to make a star costume. help?

I have to make a star costume for my DS by the 19/12/08. I work part-time so it has to beeasy to put together. Any ideas?

I did this before. Cheated a bit in that the art teacher at school drew a perfect star for me. Then I cut it out and used it as a template on 2 pieces of gold card. I stapled tinsel all round it and stapled the back and front together with more tinsel which hooked over the shoulders. I still have it if you live north of the border

Thanks Celilia but I live down south. Pelvic, Oh it might be there then. I would prefer to make something but I don't think I'll have the time. If it was a king or shepherd I could do that today with an old sheet or curtains etc.. But star

Black leotard and tights.

Cut out cardboard star shapes and cover with kitchen foil. Stick tinsel round the edge. Tie to child like a sandwich board. Bit of tinsel round the head like an alice band.

Job done. 30 minutes max.
