What should I use to write/print onto plaster please?

I have zero arts and crafts talent and I'm amazed to be posting in this topic. However ...

We've done the hand mould imprint thing with DD2 and the finished result is rather good. However, I would now like to finish it off by printing her name and age onto the blank section of plaster at the bottom.

Does anyone know what pens/paints/medium I should use for this please? Thanks in advance.

what about getting some sticky letters?

Thanks Dragon - they may be an option.

any permanent pen. sharpies are good

I would have thought of permanent markers too. Write on lightly in pencil first though and perhaps test on the back of the mould to see if it's porous!

All great options, thanks.
