Looking for a pattern for a chunky warm winter sweater.

Can anyone help please? I'm looking for a pattern for a jumper, a quick and easy knit in chunky wool/yarn. I've got shingles so can't go out to look this weekend.

I was looking for something like the Weekend Pullover # 224 on this link.

Any ideas especially if free online pattern would be appreciated greatly. And if anyone has used any really nice yarn which is what I think this simple style needs, please give me your suggestions.

Or do you think I could just have a go at making up my own pattern, I'm not so keen on the neckline of above, I would prefer a Vnrck. I've got a sweater that I picked up at a Craft fair, do you think I could just copy it.

I used to knit lots but have not had time until recently so i guess I have the skills but they are a little rusty.

Hello

Try these sites. They're full of free patterns.

www.knittingpatterncentral.com/index.php

www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/kategori_oversikt.php

I've used the yarn from Garnstudio and I really like it. I order it on line.

You can also try www.ravelry.com for more free patterns but you'll need to wait a few days for an invite.

Hope that helps.

Thank you

I'm a bit fed up as I've finally found some time to knit (as i have shingles) only to run out of Yarn. Only to discover the shop has none left!!

I'll have a search on the sites you recommend, thanks again.

I had it last year at this time too!! So I'm not a happy bunny We've had hard times and I think that's why I'm ill, but I'm sure that things will get better.

especially if i can trace my yarn...have emailed manufacturers.

Also I've been watching rubbish on TV which I've not been able to do for ages
