Claydough figures in snow globes - will they break up?

Hello - new poster on this forum!

We are making snow globes at pre-school for christmas, and I need to find things to put in them.

The 'recipe' we have looks like they have used clay dough, but I don't know if they will disintergrate. Can anyone help before I order 20!!
