...I have to pick up 2673547623657 midi Hama beads off the dining room carpet before I can feed my children.

Are you not tempted to just hoover them up ?

put tights over hoover nozzle and hoover up and then its easy to drop them into jar

misshardbroom · 12/11/2008 17:57

oh how unbelievably clever. Thank you - dd will be delighted that we can rescue the special new neon mix!!

I don't really recommend feeding them to your children [cheeky face emoticon]!!

misshardbroom · 12/11/2008 19:42

I don't know, dizzy, it's about the only way I'd get anything green into the little blighters...

Here's a tip for picking up little beads...
Put a stocking or the foot of an old pair of tights over the end of your hoover pole & suck up the beads. Then put the pole & beads over a container or box then turn off the vac - beads drop off. Repeat procedure for all 2673547623657 beads

Whizzz · 12/11/2008 20:05

should add, hold the tights in place or they will end up being sucked up the hoover!
